April Showers bring Spring Flowers
THEY say “it never rains in California” but it sure did this year, every time we planned a shoot with the Golinda family. This winter and spring were pretty wet for California. Each time we scheduled our session, we crossed our fingers, the day before and the day after were beautiful and sunny, but the day of our shoot it rained. So the third time was THE CHARM. This family was so enthusiastic and excited about their family portraiture session. I wanted it to be perfect for them.
Cindy mentioned she’d love some cactus or succulents in her photos, so I went hunting for a new location that would give us a little of that desert feel. I found a great river bed in the Sunland-Tujunga area that was perfect. I also picked up a vintage Schwinn bike that I thought would be super cute for the shoot. This location gave us everything…cacti, beautiful trees, grass, and trails.
It’s a wonderful feeling to meet such nice people. I feel blessed to do what I love!!!
