A very beautiful and talented young lady!
Every one of my clients are so unique, special, and shine in their own way. Ani had a special twinkle to her shine! Her mom reached out to me with a request to photograph her daughter for her sixteenth birthday. As with all my shoots we always have a pre-session consultation so that I can get to know my client, their personality, style, accomplishments, and wishes. Ani’s list was an impressive one. She is a champion chess player and accomplished pianist.
As we discussed what type of photos they would like to capture we realized it would be an eight hour shoot if we tried to do it all in one day. So Ani’s mom decided to make it two sessions.
Ani’s first session was in their home where I concentrated on her chess and piano playing. The second session was shot at and around the Pasadena City Hall. This is a fabulous location that offers an international feel, as if you’re in Italy. I love the beautiful columns and halls and the courtyard with the fountain.
Ani has so many sides to her, elegant and classic, young rocker and dog lover! The second half of her shoot we took to Verdugo Park where she changed into jeans and a Nirvana t-shirt for a relaxed youthful vibe and then had her pup join us for some very special memories captured!!
Ani epitomizes that 80’s saying “don’t hate me because I’m beautiful”. Truly a beauty, and talent, inside and out!!!!
