“My wish for you is that this life becomes all that you want it to. Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small and that you never need to carry more than you can hold.”
Charissa is Class of 2022 of Oak Park High School. I am thrilled to be her senior photographer and to have her as an Ambassador on my Senior Model Team’22. Charissa is adorable! She has so many different looks and personalities. She can be serious and sultry and a complete crack up.
As with all of my senior portrait sessions a lot goes into planning a unique custom experience for my client. Starting with Charissa’s pre-session consultation we talked about her interests, passions, and personal style. It’s important to me to get to know my clients so I can be sure to capture their personal authentic selves in their portraits. Charissa wanted to bring some personal props for her shoot which included a string of lights from her bedroom, her favorite stuffed animals she grew up with, her dads LP’s, a vintage camera, and her dog!!!
My senior portrait sessions always include several wardrobe changes. With Charissa we started in jean shorts, a rock-n-roll shirt and a Coke bottle, and strung her sentimental lights inside the jeep. Then we moved on to capture some fun silly moments with her childhood stuffed animals, her dads LP’s, her favorite book on dogs, and her pup. From here we moved on to our second location, Adobe Park in Glendale, and her other wardrobe choices.
The Verdugo Woodlands Reyes Adobe Park is a historical landmark and charming place to shoot. Charissa and I caught some more fun shots of her and her dog and some playful and creative images with her vintage camera She then changed into an adorable black dress and her vibe, look and personality did a 360!
The shot of her in the vintage black hat ended up being featured in a teen magazine! Congratulations!!! She and her parents were thrilled with her senior photos. They captured her authentic, diversified style and personality.
We still have many more LPP Senior Model Team shoots to look forward to. Another great way to follow my senior model team sessions is on my Instagram. Hope you will visit us there and leave us some comments of which pictures you like best and why!
My photography is my passion. If you’re looking for a photographer who will pour her heart into your shoot please give me a call!
