k family…a boy and his bearded dragon
Each of my families are so special in their own ways. But the k family was a first with their special pet request. When I first met with them for their pre-session consultation, we brainstormed ideas, wardrobe, location and personal wishes. I asked if they had a pet they would like to include in their shoot. At first they mentioned their beloved golden retriever…and then little Ethan told me about his “bearded dragon”. Hummmm…I’ve never done a “family session” with a bearded dragon before!!!!
This family was so sweet. And Ethan was a beautiful, spirited, and enthusiastic eight year old with a special bond with his pet! He kept himself composed and well behaved for mom and dad in all the family photos. But when I got him off on his own, it was adorable to see his little personality and imagination just cut loose.
We laughed, and played, and had a great time capturing some beautiful special memories together!!!!!
There is always a special bond between a boy and his dog, but this story includes a special bond between a little boy and his dragon!
